Maybe if one jumped sideways off a terrace and went down one of the annexes of the "Y". It looks like that's the only part of the building without any stepping and is a sheer rise at each central location. Of course though, one end you have the entrance to the podium area, and I'd presume the base would be wide enough that it covers the other two central parts in much the same way. Yeah... not sure. I mean, will it be attempted to be climbed and jumped off of? I'm sure. I just don't know either how that'll work quite yet.

Just curious I know Cul gave us an update recently but does anyone have an estimate at the current number of floors in core please? I'd guess about 88th floor.

Nobody replied to my post so i'm gonna post it again lol.

I'm still worried about talks of the Burj Dubai's "Structural Integrity" coming in question.

This is perhaps the Chrysler of our time as it seems like some other structure in Dubai will surpass it in a couple of decades, but its a very important and special tower in Sky Scraper history.

^what talks? im sure every bldg new tower has all these "rumours" made up about it. the Q1 tower in Australia had a rumour going round about how it was leaning. i mean for gods sake.im sure the modern engineers of today are on top of skyscraper construction.especially its superstructure strength etc.

It was near the end of thread #21 I believe, an article stated that there were some delays with the tower as there were talks of questioning the structural integrity after a recent re-design.?

The talk about the structural integrity of the building was becouse the concrete was being left for to long exposed to the atmospheric agents like heat, humidity, wind but also sand and dust particles.

It had nothing to do with the construction itself or the reported height increase.

i have a weird question .. might sound dumb..
will this rain affect Burj Dubai's progress in anyway .. speaking in terms of its current pace of 1 floor every 3 days ..
i hope not !!
