You know what saddens me most about this tower? It's that I'm not in Dubai to witness the history in the making!

I like the color of the glass panels. That will look great on the building when done.

Cullwulla, On that last big picture it looks to me like the floors above the green mesh are a little bit higher than the rest of the "normal" floors. Is that just my perception? I know we will be seeing higher floors as we get closer to the top, but I don't know the details about how much and when this will be happening.

Its not just your perception, looks like the final hotel/apartments floors have been completed and we are now heading into the office space!! I may be wrong however and they may simply be high ceiling apartments.

I just checked the floor plans on here...

...and it looks like the green mesh is mech floors floors 74 and 75. From this point on there is a slight adjustment to the average hieight of the floors. The plans also show the 'Luxury Residences' finish on floor 108.

tier 8 has been reached!.these are to be the highest resi floors in world. they average 3.2m per floor.

is that including the spire = 705m at the top? or is that the last occupiable floor I wish!!!!!
so most likely the burj Dubai is going to be 705m's, the reason i say the because if you look at the tower right now and look at the plan there's a lot of like the same.

Megatower, the taller versions of the building do not differ from the 705m version until farther up. So, we can't make any conclusions on what version they are building based on what has been built so far.
