They physical way evrybody can understand, shoring is when excavation is finished and some walls created inside the plot as you can see in latest picture, piling is when some piles look like column are dig into ground so if you check the picture you cant see any in the ground, that means the work has been done half through, while it needs only 6 month to complete. So contact the developer take some picture go to thier office show the pictures and ask them what F*%k is going on?

Yup, piling is obviously completed and they are revealing the pile caps, which is usually the job of the main contractor, so probably they managed to find one.

Hi Altin, When I visited the website of Al Attar and looked for project update for Polaris I read - Mobilisation of main contractor completed under process. I am not sure what they meant by completed / under process. However when I contact over email to the project manager Mr. Bipin, he replied that by the end of August they would be updating the site. Lets hope for the best

Besides, normally what is the time gap between ground work and construction?

When selecting the main contractor, the developer would submit his plans to his selected choice of contractors. They would submit a tender which the developer would approve.
I guess at the moment a negotiation of price and terms is under discussion.

Upon explaination he said that the foundation is already over, now pile cutting is going on for basement, in 3 to 4 weeks structure would start. Please advice if by looking at the status it looks probable

I'm sorry but he's lying to you
First, the piles you see are only a part of the foundation. After the piles are partly excavated the heads of the piles are being cut of (this is for the connection between the piles and the raft on top of it). Than the whole site is being waterproofed with 2 layers of concrete and 1 layer of bitumens between it. After this part is done, which will definitely take at least 2 months for a site of this size, they will start on the raft as Sale said. This will also take a few weeks. All of this is part of the foundation.
Second, no way the foundation is done within a month. The site is just too big and the layout of the foundation is too complex for such a short timespan. Also the amount of progress is disappointing. Since August 18th they only excavated about 60% of the piles for the core and some more caissons for the columns. With this speed it will take at least another 1 or 2 weeks to excavate the remaining piles.
So it will definitely take a while before you'll see this beauty rise
