I visited Polaris site today and see that some construction has started again .. seemingly at very slow pace.

I follow this plot for the last 2 years and in october this year I was there again. Zero progres!

Has anybody discussed with Al Attar recently on this one? It looks like there is a new Project Manager (Mr Mansour)....but no progress on all their plots in Business bay (Polaris+Skyscraper) and JLT as well....
Anybody has taken any action?

I am investor in Global Point 3 - another SCAM project from Al Attar Properties. Paid in 65% since 2005.

We visited Al attar group in June 2010, Spoke to Mr. Karim, he just messed us around sending from one Al Attar office to another office. In another office there was a rude girl, who had no sympathy for us.

They were try to sell apartment in different projects which was 200k more expensive than the market. They are just bunch of thieves

I don’t think they are going to build any project.

We all should a joint action against Al Attar.

An Al Attar Investors action group website is currently under construction, this site is for every investor that has been stung by this corrupt developer. unfortunately this website does not allow live email addresses. But if you hop along to the Propertycommunity(dot)com Website look for the Dubai forum pages, on the second page of discussions there is a person who you can contact.

I had an invest with Alattar in K1 tower in JLT. Today they offered me a swap with a flat in Polaris tower. I was on the site today and saw some poeple work there. Anyboday can help me with advice and suggestion?

I met on December the new Project Manager (Mr Mansour) who replaced the old one (Mr Bipin). It seems that the first project to be completed is gonna be The Polaris, hence I would suggest everybody who invested in other Attar properties in Business Bay or JLT to switch to this one (this is what I did as well, as originally I invested in Skyscraper).
Mansour confirmed that out of the 2 plots in JLT (Vue du Lac & Vista del Lago) only one will be built but at the moment with no provision on when they will start.
As you mentioned, the only site where there is some progress and some mobilization of people is Polaris: this doesn't mean that works will go-ahead without interruption but at least it is an improvement on what happened (nothing) in the last 3 years.
I'm in touch with the building contractror (OST Constructional Projects LLC/Eng. Ahmad 050-6340299) and consultant (NEB/Eng. Sohaib 050-9414112): they can provide updates.
