Good question. For now yes. But the 152m BT Tower stands not to distance and a 70m office tower just to the side. As Erebus has also said, some major plans are in the pipeline for the surrounding area.

Don't even bother driving round the rounabout, it's a bloomin nightmare so i've kinda missed what's going on. What are the buildings to the immediate left, is that lloyd house I see being redeveloped

Didnt expect to find one considering they have only just started construction. Erebus cheated a bit didnt he - its for highrises over 100m - the one which was U/C at the time of thread opening was that of a building only 57m tall. - the towers only got planning last month

Funny thing is I even posted in it.

Well a clear-up - the towers have actually begun construction.

These towers have grown on me alot. At first when I saw the renders I didn't like them at all.
Now though I love them and I'll look forward to watching them rise.

Good project for Birmingham, although I'd have to say, not many buildings see the top of my list like the Rotunda building in Birmingham. I don't care if it's only 25 or so floors, it's awesome.

This will be a good tower though.

the area around these two buildings look very chaotic and ugly i think. I'd prefer to see only the tall one rise, the small one takes the tall one a bit down.
