that would make it nearly 390m.
Is there anything planned for the waterfront in front of this complex?

Ive always seen this development as very slow compared to the other original big 2. It still seems nowhere near 390m tall.

The West Kowloon Cultural District was planned on the right side of this picture.
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=222600

But that's a story without an end. They're going to build something cultural but it's not known exactly what and hoe it's going to look. There were some beautiful plans but they were canceled because of financing problems.

I don't think they're going to build anything between the complex and the typhoon shelter above the West Kowloon Highway (on the left side of the picture).

I agree it looks nothing like 390 metres, I'd guess... possibly... 320 metres??

LOL, the building to the right of ICC is 250 meter tall. ICC is easily 140-150 meter taller on that photo. The reason it seems so short is the width of the tower, about 65 meter if I'm not wrong. The WTC twins were actually less wide, if only by a smal margin.

Besides the height, note also that the buildings around it are also wide as mofos. Even disregarding the distance perspective, you can imagine how small the buildings around would look next to the whole complex.

If ICC is currently at around 380-390m, and it is going to be 484m tall, there's about 100 metres to go.

Only the core is at level 97-98. Check where the floor plates are, check where the cladding is. And there is also hell of interior work on such huge building. I think 2010 or even 2011 is very real for this tower to be completely finished.
