Makes the neighbouring 270m towers look stumpy. It will look to be more uniform when more of the cladding is put up.

why standard? how many floors a skyscraper will have depends to 99% how much demand of space they've.

well we all know its not really 100 floors.

It's nice to see the builders here aren't trying to cowardly steal away a height claim with some pathetic spire ((petronas towers)) but making a dignified supertall with a substantial amount of inhabitable space at the top

Oh yeah? Tell that to the crazy sheik in Dubai and his wet-dreams of having the largest of everything. Talk about irrational exuberance. HK at least can fill up their towers and high rise residences based on market conditions whereas Dubai is seriously overbuilding... much of it government subsidized...
