Fantastic pics. I like this building very much, but the mechanical cladding is ugly. I don't like it and i hope to recladding. But i know that's impossible. I think that the blue cladding which is on all building is nicer

Well of course. I guess I just like completely open floor plans. It was just an observation.

yes R4, is also known as refuge1, so the core is now 402m.

Thanks . I just viewed hkskyline's thread about the exhibit in the HK forums a few minutes ago and discovered it. I think it should be a permanent fixture. It fits HK's ultra modern look quite well.

actually that Zaha Hadid's work is not a permanent fixture; it'll be there till April, and then the mobile art show will move to Tokyo -> New York -> London -> Moscow -> and finally to Paris. You can find more details at their website:

It has probably been mentioned somewhere in this 130+ pages thread, but how many floors are there in total, including refuge and mechanic room, in ICC?

I know we had discussed these before all these skipped "4" floor sounds ICC cheats to be 118 floors in total.ut looking at the layout, skipping a couple "4s" in between but there are a lot more Rs and Ms than the "4s". And shouldn't it more than 118 actually? Like between 101 and 102, there four more floors in between

They've been building on that piece of land for a while now. The reclamation finished in the mid 90s and the first skyscrapers appeared soon after (The Waterfront). As long as they stick the foundations to bedrock, which is standard practice for these big buildings anyway, then land settling is not an issue at all.
