yes, the M4-1 means 1st of mech floors.
another 1 to go M4-2, then hotel kitchen floor @ M4-3
then you will see floor 102 label. lol

SO- CURRENT CORE HEIGHT IS NOW 406M
or same height as observation on 2IFC

Unless something has changed in the last 2 years, there isn't an observation level on top of 2IFC. 55th floor is the highest accessible level to the public, which I have been to.

Here's some info from Wiki

====================

The 55th, 56th and the 77th to 88th floors were bought by the HKMA for US$ 480 million in 2001[7]. An exhibition area, currently containing an exhibit of Hong Kong's monetary history, and a library of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority Information Centre occupy the 55th floor, and are open to the public during office hours[11]. The 88th floor of the tower contains the office of the Chief Executive of the HK Monetary Authority, and is served by an individual lift.

It was only a private party held by a tenant of 2IFC, the roof top has always been closed to general public.

so ... after these mechanic floors ... its gonna be the hotel ...
which means the core has almost reach its highest ...
does it also mean that it is not going to rise significantly until the floor plates reach the core?

aboveday, cul, beyutch.. thank for the info on the roofdeck.. i'm sure you guys saved me time and frustration..

too bad it's closed.. I remember how cool the roofdeck was @ WTC in new york.. a perfect day.. clear and sunny.. and 360 view of the city..

anyway.. thanks.. i'm sure the view of HK from the peak will do just fine!!
