no probs. i was told the next 20 floors will dramatically change the way the construction as been for previous 100 floors. for a start the core wont be in centre. the top 20 floors consist of a hollow core with hotel floors wrapping around the void. builders are concentrating on lower sections atm. the bottom 40 floors will be fitted out soon for occupation.

I think I understand what you mean from the schematic above... so a hollow core with plant and tanks taking up the inner void. Then how thick would the loadbearing wall be? Wouldn't it be easier to build a steel-frame lattice structure for the top, ala Burj?

No decorations... looks like it's a projected laser beam during the Symphany of Lights. Given that face faces south-east, the beam probably comes from 1 Peking, or less likely, Hopewell Centre.
