Tell me where again it mentions either impressive or expensive. The closest I can come to is that it means large, big or bulky and that's how he's describing ICC. Either that or he thinks it's disgusting.

Personally, I've never heard of "gross" being used with positive connotations.

Wow, I never noticed there's smaller version of 2 international finance centre. At least their roofs share same design. (smaller version to the left of the 2ifc)

Go on urban dictionary man.. It's a 'new generation' term that you might not be familiar with.. It's rarely used but i pretty sure in this context anniefiztcher meant it in the positive way..

Back in the 80's, "bad" was sometimes slang for "good" so it's not a stretch to see "gross" having a good connotation.
