Well if it's fog it's cool - cities always look cooler in fog/mist.

If it's pollution, its still cool - adds a certain element to it.

It's called the monsoon season. At least that's what I think it is. It looked like that for 9/10 days that we were there and there was definitely a monsoon there then.

I will get round to putting my pics on here soon I hope but it's a big day tomorrow - my wife is getting out of hospital for the first time since we returned from HK. Had to rush her into hospital the day after our return - she couldn't breathe.

Turns out on the trip sometime (probably the flight over there), she suffered a pulminary embolism, along with the addition of a rare lung infection only chemo patients can contract, and also an increase in lung metastases. She got pretty breathless 4 days before we were due to return but she wouldn't let me get her back home sooner.

Be nice to have her home again, but she'll still be on oxygen. Shitty times.

Will try to upload my pics once she's settled in and hopefully improving.

Sorry to hear! Hope she's okay. Hope your next trip, if you come back, is much better.

Anyway can't anyone add to urban dictionary?

Didn't realise there were more entries further down. I thought the advert was the end of it. Heh.

ICC rents caught in Kwok feud (STANDARD)
05月 21日 星期三 05:30AM

The chairman of troubled Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016), Walter Kwok Ping-sheung, said yesterday that to rent Tsim Sha Tsui's International Commerce Centre at extremely low prices without prior approval from the board, and without notifying him as chairman, was hurting the company's interest.

In reaction to his two younger brothers' allegation that he would be stopping the rental improperly, Kwok charged instead that Thomas Kwok Ping-kwong and Raymond Kwok Ping-luen's rental decision had not been done through proper procedures.

"It's normal and usual practice, when disagreements appear, to put them to the board of directors for discussion," sources closed to the eldest Kwok said.

In response, an SHKP spokesperson said all business decisions had been made with the approval of the board of directors and through proper procedure. "Other than that, we have no comment to make." The spokesperson also denied a market rumor that the company plans to call an extraordinary general meeting to remove Walter Kwok as chairman.

Walter Kwok's hitting back at his two brothers is a continuation of their fight via the media since he filed a writ last Thursday. That writ stopped a board meeting to permanently remove him from his current position. A High Court hearing is scheduled for this Friday.

Thomas Kwok and Raymond Kwok, also vice chairmen of SHKP, raised 17 grievances about their elder brother's action, on Friday after the writ was filed. They said Walter Kwok had made major management decisions unwisely and without consulting them.

On Monday it was revealed that Walter Kwok had made a report to the police last Friday against a US-based doctor for allegedly practicing medicine in Hong Kong unregistered and prescribing unlicensed medicine to him.

Looking good. I was keen on this since I spotted it in Top Trumps as Phase 7 Union Square.

Nice complement to 2 IFC serving as quite a welcome to anyone coming into HK by water
