how many levels do the concrete core need to rise? it seems to be stopped or topped out... then the outer perimeter or the cladding needs to rise higher than the core.

The concrete core is done, the next 65m or so will be a steel structure.

It won't be "just like a hole in the centre", it will be a ~60m tall atrium, something like in Jin Mao...

Especially Bank of China looks spectacular there. I love this building from the first time I saw it but I still can't believe how beautiful it is on some pictures...

BoC is one of my favourite skyscrapers of all time. Easily in my top 10 skyscrapers in the world.
