Rather recent, rather fresh.

Saw it in hkskyline's 'North Point' thread in the Hong Kong forums. Here's the original link:

Far right in blue? That's Harbourfront Landmark - 233m.

Just right of ICC is Hanoi Road - 261m.

Ever wondered how big this building ACTUALLY is?

Have a look at these images: They're taken from Lei Yue Mun, which is approximately 8 km away.

Photographer is Jeffery - http://www.pbase.com/specialteam

The set of buildings on the left side are in North Point by the Island Eastern Corridor (highway), approximately 3 km from Lei Yue Mun, and 5-6 km from West Kowloon.

The Sorrento looks quite nice from this angle.

These were taken a month ago.

Why is it that the Harbourside always looks so empty... Is the developer holding on to a number of units?

Yea, it's being released in phases. The next phase (don't know if that's the second, third or whatever) is now.

I suspect they'll try to cling on to the whole ICC/Cullinan thing to maximise profit.

Love that last shot. It looks like a fortress.

My proposal to improve Union Square.

Stick the Harbourside and the Arch where Sorrento are.
Stick Nina Tower in the centre of Union Square, where the park is now.
Stick OIE to the east of Nina tower.
Leave the Cullinan where it is.

I don't have fireworks or photoshop installed on this comp, and paint just won't do. So no render for you guys.

Wow, looking at this diagram, Hong Kong is sitting around bitching at each other about heights while everyone else is building these crazy buildings

Gonna need to start doing something to stay ahead (buildings wise), HK
