Ah fair enough - I see your point; sometimes it is difficult to tell what is "real" and what is "edited", what with techniques like HDR and editing programmes like Photoshop.

However, and trust me, that picture is very much real - occasionally, on a very superb day, rare as it may be, the Hong Kong sky really does look like that.

Jesus ******* Christ, look at all those thousands of tiny lights everywhere. I've said it before, but HK is science-fiction territory.

You are right. Kowloon needs more skyscarpers and illumination. It doesn't look as bright as HK Island.

2 points:

1. You can see Nina Tower.

2. That development on Conduit Road is going to make a nice filler addition to the skyline from this angle.

Well Kowloon was never the commercial center of Hong Kong, and it's just started the sort of developing that HKI has seen since the 1970s in the past 10 years.

Given the current political climate in HK, though, I highly doubt Kowloon will pass HKI within the next 25 years.

According to this photo by dawnliner, the steel beams have reached 443.6 meters, 110th floor. But the floors haven't reached that high.
