I must say i agree with this fellow chum ! ! This building is just a classic square box that demands to be looked at. Height with a sexy night outline of white light is just, well SEXY.

damm that looks kinda scary, similar to looking at a massive dark forest before entering.
anyways, I wanta say this tower is nice. it is a box, but an incredibly massive box, with a great street level view and great facade. I love how such straight edges can draw your eye to the structure itself, and how it dominates. I find myself reminiscing about towers long gone when seeing the renders.

The complex looks very nice, but I thought that the facade will go faster than it is right now.

No, I am not.

The photo below provides more clues to where it was taken from.

yep just got bak from HK, after a 15 year absence.
(Seem to have lost my shots, not reraly good nuff to post but i wanted the records.)
Anyway.
yes HK IS the skyline world capital this is true...
But.
Actually it was more impressive 15 yrs ago when one could see both the peak as the tallest point & ALL the density behind the foreground scrapers. All those lights rising up the hillside.Wild.
Now its just a line of mostly not very interesting talls. No visual depth.
Plus all the chaos of the docks & the typhoon shelters were still there.
So although the HK skyline is big , to me as a piece of kinetic art its lost something.
Best tall in the world still Peis' masterwork and its relativly small...

Must be getting old.

I think color will be depending on weather and reflecting angle, today the sky is blue...

Nice updates!
