Incredible shots! Some of the best I've ever seen of Hong Kong ... those last few in particular are simply breathtaking...

Thx for posting

Some older ones - but I think still worth a posting.

From the new Le 188 Restaurant and Lounge (188 because it has a 188 degree view).

Haven't eaten here yet - I don't have much hope for the food (just an impression/perception) - but the view is stunning.

The interiors could be better IMO, not bad though, but the views are just awesome! Can't argue with that!

What building is this restaurant situated in please?

Very impressive. Beautiful buildings and a stunning natural setting. What more could you want.

The new 5* hotel in North Point/Tin Hau - Harbour Grand

Agreed with the interiors ~ it isn't cheap at over HK$800 for the tasting menu (US$100)...about $600-1200 per person a la carte.

Heard a couple of reviews from people I trust regarding food, and they've said food is poor, service is 'there' but not knowledgeable, and obviously the view is truly gorgeous. For that price, there are several better restaurants in HK, but none with the same view.

So, it would seem that the best thing about this "restaurant" is the view huh?! If you're going to charge people those kind of prices then you need to provide top-class food and impeccable service in excellent surroundings IMO! Always a shame to hear such reviews. Hope this will improve with time and the right kind of management take charge.

The view is a dream though...

Thx for the info

It is - it may improve with time, but I don't have high hopes for it. I reckon it'll be one of those overpriced restaurants with gorgeous views that are littered all over Hong Kong (think most of the restaurants at the Peak).

To see a full Hong Kong and Kowloon skyline? Yea it's probably the best vantage point from a restaurant.

Yea read about it - but I haven't been there as of yet.

The Petrus is my favourite for a view + food place.

It's a fair price to pay for an excellent meal with an excellent atmosphere and excellent service...but by all account this isn't one of those places. I'm never going to pay that price for the view alone - I'd just head to Braemar Hill instead for free.

Anyway, speaking of new places with brilliant views, here's the newly opened Wooloomooloo Steakhouse in Wan Chai - they already have two in the city, this is their 3rd.

31/F and Rooftop of The Hennessey, 256 Hennessey Road, Wan Chai.
