Okay, all of Hong Kong's current and *historic* supertalls. How often do you see that Yau Ma Tei place and the Hopewell Centre in the same photo?

1. A 'supertall' is defined as a building taller than 300 metres. Neither of the ones you speak of are taller than 300m.

2. What Yau Ma Tei place? You mean Langham Place in Mong kok?

3. Quite often actually...most photos from Braemar Hill, the Peak, Beacon Hill etc will include both.

In any case, I can't actually spot Langham Place in that photo.

I found an older pic on my hard drive from a similar spot. A morning shot. When the skies were still clean this summer.

Haha. I was on holiday then! This was really early. But we had this amazing light every morning. I had an urge to get a few pics of that light. This was taken at 5.30.

Just for the record, Hong Kong has "only" 7 supertalls: ICC, IFC 2, Central Plaza, BOC, The Centre, Nina Tower, and One Island East.

The next tallest, Cheung Kong, is just short of 300 meters.

Am I the only one who don't like the way the tower narrows down on top and at the bottom? I originally thought the tower would strech out with almost the same width but now it almost looks like the tower is very shy. This is the only thing I don't like about this otherwise gorgeous tower. I think 2IFC has a more natural curve.

I agree with the top. I love the base though.

An older image from this summer (without the top. I always love it when skyscrapers are in the clouds. I made a pano from the peak when the storm was there the other day. Will put it up later.
