Thx!!! It's funny. In the morning making pano's is hard. In less than a minute the light chances so much that all frames of the pano look differently.

Doe anybody know were the picture that skybean posted is taken from. From harbor city?

I was hoping the top would be a little wider. The renderings are misleading.

It's Hong Kong - find me an accurate rendering of anything in this city and I'll show you the world.

The top doesnt get more narrow, it just that the corners are getting flat, so when u look at an angle it look like the top gets more narrow.

The top does get narrower .... the upper part of the budiling does slope inward a little bit.

Are you talking about the one in this post?
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpo...postcount=6181

If yes, that's the top level of Harbour City or Ocean Terminal, whatever you call it.

BTW, IMO, the full pano would be perfect if you crop out the TST Star Ferry, The blurred nearest boat just ruined the whole picture.

Awesome pictures! HongKong is such a vibrant city, feels so internationalized. All the skyscrapers and midrise towers make a overwhelming feeling when you are there. A must visit city. Go HongKong

very true. . yesterday i visited this tower, it's really HUGE. from the distance (at least from my apartment) it looks 'thin' sometimes. but you have to see the base... just great.
