A shaft between the two towers??? Really?? It seems like Orthanc and Barad-Dur, hehehehe.

Not cool lightling design.
Light pollution with 2 IFC is already bad enough.
An additional ICC is going to make it worse; plus having a beam across the harbour is just insane if it is on all the time.
I can see that as part of the Symphony of Light, not a steady thing.

Which lighting design will they use?
I hope it's the last one.

There is no such word as "light pollution" in a Hong Kong dictionary. This city is supposed to light up as bright as a supernova.

Haha, you're complaining about light pollution in Hong Kong? Perhaps you should go to Nebraska instead, if you want it nice and dark. :P

I love the idea of beaming a spotlight across the harbour, very cool.

Wow, fabulous idea! They should put a ginormous laser across the harbour; it'll "burn" off all that pollution!

If thats lighting pollution, then i love this kind of pollution =p

Besides a great majority of buildings in hongkong are known for their lighting design, and HK does have a largest light and laser show.

And with 2IFC and ICC having the same lighting scheme, they would surely look like 2 gateway pillars in the nighttime (which they will emulate during the daytime)

I think that in Hong Kong, you can't see any star with all those towers and city lightnings

Historical observatories like Mount Palomar and Mount Wilson are closed due to the proximity of Los Angeles: 50 km+ from Palomar !

There will be areas devoid enough og light pollution to view the night sky. Besides when you are in the city don't expect a majestic view of the stars :P

The cladding on US6 is awful - just like all the other buildings so far in Union square. ICC is the only one that can redeem the complex.
