here you go

TBH I personally hate this crazy humidity in spring. It can be >85% for weeks and even >95% for several days. You can't sweat and yet your shirt becomes soaking wet just by walking into the humid air. It becomes difficult to breathe with all the moisture invading the lungs. The ground is never dry and the puddles become smelly and a perfect breeding ground for new exotic diseases (SARS). You have to run the moisture absorber machine non-stop or else water would start dripping off walls and puddles pops up out of nowhere in the house.

Does anyone know what project is going on here on the bottom left? It's a real prime area on the harbor, I hope it's something nice.

I just know that there's a large underground station in the middle with an impressive glass entrance at ground level, however I don't know what else is there as there were construction site hoardings everywhere when I went last summer.

Great, thanks for the info. I was afraid they might be building a large tower there blocking off the view behind from the perspective across the water, but a park seems most appropriate for this spot.

thats a really nice project, but i hope thats the final land reclamation project for Victoria harbour. At the rate they've been going, the harbour will be reduced to a tiny river!

Here're pictures of the ICC model compared to other buildings in the world. It ranks as #3 tallest in the world if measured to roof height, and #4 in the world if measured to architectural detail.

sorry if this doesn't belong here

That's a nice angle because it shows the whole building like a model.

Is the ICC area set to become a major business district in the future? Or is it just ICC and residential towers?

I've fallen in love with Hong Kong because of this tower. It's simple, yet that's what makes it so gorgeous.

Yes - this is the new business district. With an express train link to the airport, express bus link to Shenzhen airport, and the future high-speed rail link to the mainland, ICC will be part of the decentralization initiative from the core financial district on Hong Kong Island. Unlike similar attempts elsewhere in Kowloon, this one aims to get the headquarters and key functions to move across the harbour, and not so much the back office / support functions being lured to the cheaper parts of East Kowloon.

We have a thread on the new business district in the General Developments section : http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=884850
