I haven't contributed in a while, so here we go. Yesterday with the new lights on. For some reason you have to hurry, they turn them off well before 7 already...

Finally completed, but not even relevent as a supertall anymore. Such a shame!

Anyone knows if Hong Kong has plans for building taller in the future?

There are no plans to build a taller building just yet but I am sure it will happen and it is most likely to be built on the Kowloon side.

Not quite sure what you mean about "not even relevent" as it is the 4th tallest building in the world!

You are right! They didn't seem to like me taking images from there. Sometimes it helps when you don't seem to know the language. Do you perhaps know any other parkings on Kowloon side?

That's the best one. The others are not that high and don't have a view.

I love the relationship between IFC and ICC. Reminiscent of sentinels welcoming everyone to the harbor.

I hope Hong Kong is not going to build anything taller than this. It's the design or outlook rather than height, that matters. I don't want lots of ugly big tall buildings in Hong Kong.

You need to hurry up. It's going to be closed and torn down very soon.

Definitely. The placement of IFC 2 was kind of a mistake (because it's taller than everything else but right up in the front), but now they've taken that and made something awesome out of it.

What are they going to build there? Like most parkings in HK it's not even half full.

The road on the picture runs right through the parking. That's how I found it by accident.

I feel the last thing Hong Kong needs are supertalls. The skyline is perfect as it is.

Kowloon could do with a few more prominent 200-300ms. So could the main skyline - especially say around Wan Chai or Causeway Bay. Just boost that side up a bit.

I agree, that's why I said Hong Kong. On Kowloon side they could not down a few of the generic buildings on the waterfront.
