Sorry to say that the landscaping looks really cheap for the most prestigious building complex in Hong Kong.

Yes, you're right it has to be. But the lense distorted it so much so that it looks like Pacific Place.

Yes! Yes! That's what it looks like - I was wondering....

It looks a bit short for 270m though ~ look more lik Pacific Place's height which is around 160?

It's really deceiving--I found out why just now. It's so distorted even on the ground distance axis that the lower section of the tower, before the setback, is blocking the upper narrow portion that reaches all the way to 270m. You can barely see the true height of the upper portion, hidden away in the back.
