This forum is precisely all about discussing and exchanging ideas. Your statement that those who don't like Tour Signal should be educated is inappropriate.

Je suis d'accord avec JP lol

I find that the back of the tower is quite strange...

@Jef:

JP has simply said to me that there was no reason to insist as we cannot discuss about tastes. He added that they could still get matured, but cannot be discussed. This is totally different to what you suggest.

I do have issues with the harshness of the "L"-shaped North façade, but I do like the poetry of the general look of the building. Despite this, JP is right, if one thinks red is prettier than blue and I personally think the opposite, I'll never convince him that I'm the one who's right. Now this being said, I remain disappointed because I have the feeling some people don't want to open themselves to the tower, to let it come to them. Now, if they find it that repulsive, I can't do anything about it, that's their feeling and I of course fully respect it.

I agree with, this forum is all about discussing and exchanging ideas... taste is not idea.
Taste is no matter of conviction but education.

Someone who dislikes the tower is not uneducated... I did not say it.

This tower would be nice in London but it is far too ugly for a city like Paris. I don't like the hair at all.

I think it looks like a tumour - in fact, it looks a lot like the awful statue of the politically correct pregnant amputee in Trafalgar Square.

Hey dudes keep in mind that "the tower is at 'schematic Design' phase"

There is nothing set in stone so far imo.

someone told about the status of the building connecting the tower with the CNIT, it's maybe only this part which is schematic...

Unibail have chosen this project because they like its concept.

Important point - I made the same about Generalu. To what extent, it the Tour Signal proposal likely to be modified?

Well..a better hairstyle and a less fatty ass maybe This is what most people resent in this project seemingly.
And the building linking the tower and the CNIT might not be built according to that same forumer who was at SIMI yesterday.

It's a great building. The best project in Europe so far.

It may just be an interpretation of the architect self projecting fear of a severe chemotherapy or something.
I kinda like the hair as you guys put it, it woulda looked better though had the tower been a little less curvacious, as if it was really an extention of the structure reaching for the sky.
I regard it more as twisted bits of hay. lol. whatever it is isn't half as bad as it's made out to be. It's quite early and the few renders have had people getting their knickers in a twist, we'll be able to look at it again with a clear mind in a few weeks, when the initial flurry of love and hate has finally settled.
