Oh..Thankx for advice...i´m so lazzy
but i can read about the design...really, a intersting article...
i can see that Europe are changing his traditional style for one very contemporary... a bog contrast...I hope that this build will be a hit, in the Defense section, in Paris.

Thankx and greetings

I went to the exhibition last Sunday, I took a series of pictures and on this one, you can see its most slender and soaring side:

Beautiful tower .

There's something very appealing about the tower on the far right, probably because it reminds me of a female body in a kneeling position.

Now the pic I took above proves that my first impression was wrong
It actually looks more like a leek:

Still looks like an old lufa to me. Warped, and frayed at the top. *shudders*

Some see it as a woman kneeling. Others see it as hairy. Being it French I should really not take that further.

I like the front but not so much the back, although the picture above gives me a more positive impression than on the original renders.

Of course many of us like to make fun of the French once in a while, but honesty obliges to concur that the regeneration of la Defense will be a huge success. I think all the proposals for this site were spectacular and IMO the quality of this competition was at par with the competition for the WTC site in NY (and the process much more efficient).

From a European perspective, rents in La Defense have always been relatively cheap, it has a fantastic transport network, the only thing that was holding up some multinationals to locate their European head offices there IMO was that it looked a bit cheap and run down. That seems to change dramatically now and I think it will put some pressure on other European cities to improve their game.

It is Jacques Ferrier's "hyperphare" proposal model.

check the project on his web site > Enter > Projects > Tour Phare La Défense for further details:

Someone could change the name of this thread
The name of this skyscraper is only Tour Phare.

Tour Signal is an other supertall planned for la Defense.
