I like the first version better. It is quite good, compared to the other tall buildings in paris...

Europe should build more tall buildings, at least their capitals need some markable tower.

A pregnant tower... this is exactly what I thought of!

I prefer the first design, because Tour Phare looks rather fat now. I also see a slight similarity to Tour T1, though this one is much more impressive of course: it's growing almost supertall and has such a smoothly curved facade.

I hope that construction will start soon!

Fattened, shortened, with a less original 'haircut'.
What a regression that new design is...
I'm annoyed now.

The old design was far better, but the new one is really cool as well. Lucky Paris!

And after reading through this thread, it's funny reading how jealous a lot of the British guys are. Looks like St. Mary's Axe (the Gherkin) won't be so amazing anyone, once Tour Phare pushes it of it's perch.

La tour est très très belle, mais la seule chose que je n'aime pas est le toit

I don't like the second design, I like the first! Especially the 'crown'!

I think i prefer the Crown in the second version - the first version just looked like a random afterthought.

And i like the small details of the tower, the cross-bracing etc...but viewing it as a whole it just doesn't do anything for me, it looks a bit too cobbled together and incohesive for me.
