I just realized that when I take photos of the buildings along the river or of the city in general, I avoid including the Trump... personally, I think it is an ever-growing eyesore...

Cities are an ever changing entity. Trump will be in the skyline for the next couple hundred years, so get used to it. It's not bad, as far as I can tell.

I myself can't stand that arrigant bastard Trump... but, I have to admit he makes a damn good skyscraper. Personally, I think the Trump Chicago is the best designed tower compaired to all his others.

That picture from Oak Park is nice! The colors, the perspective...good job.

of course there is one , you only can't see it because it is rising with the same speed as the floors arround it. only in a shot from above it is clearly visible

^ Yeah, it's due to the way the core outrigger system works. Since the walls of the core are working in tandem with the external columns to carry the load of the building it can't rise any faster than the rest of the structure. Pretty cool if you ask me, otherwise a building of this size on what is quite a small and slender sight it would be really hard to construct.

Nice pictures as usual BTW, anyone got any guesses on when it will start to rise again, or are we still far off?

Be grateful he didn't decide on reproducing the same attrocity than the one rising in Las Vegas. The one with a cladding copied on the packaging of some cheap candy... Please someone put up a picture; I'm not brave enough.
