There was no plastic on the windows, they were just dirty. You can see the buckets hanging off the workmen's belts.

It looks like there is mechanical floor cladding a few floors below the actual mechanical floor.. is that it?
But then again, the other picture shows that they are on every parking floor.

Btw, the new banner was done by C2 Media.
Apparently there is also supposed to be temporary
covers over the columns by the entrance of the building.

I wonder if the U.S. mortgage crisis is going to have any effect on the sales in this and other large towers in Chicago... (the other notable one is the Chicago Spire, of course). That might pose some difficulty for Mr Trump, I would think. Though I'm not sure if the tower's market of generally rich buyers would be affected by the crisis.

wont the developers look in the long term?

By the time the CS is completed the mortgage crisis will be over.

I don't quite understand what you mean by that. People use mortgages to buy condominiums, like the ones in Trump Tower, too.

I think this is a joke right?

The mortgage crisis doesn't really affect the buyers of the high end condos. Its certainly not a good thing either. However the Fed has aggressively cut interest rates. Rates are extremely good, and prices are falling, its a buyers market. High net worth clients shouldn't have a hard time getting loans either, if they even need them.
