cant believe its almost done i cant wait! once the spire or antenna thingy goes up itll look even taller and impact the skyline more! o and i have a question was this the building that the guy who won the 1st season of the apprentice was in charge of?

The answer to that is mostly opinion based. In my opinion the Trump Tower has a mix of Modernist and Post Modernist design. Modernism is defined by the "Less is more" idea fostered by Mies van der Rohe called Minimalism while Post Modern buildings have more exterior decoration and tend to be more sculptural and lessy boxy.

The Trump Tower reflects both design styles.

Modern - It has a plain glass curtain wall and exposed decorative I-beams that give the windows depth (Mies was known for this)

Post Modern - It has an unorthodox shape and a few ornamental features, most notably, its interesting and complex parking ramp and main entrance.

When I read the question, my initial answer was that this is a postmodern interpretation of modernism. Having thought about it some more, and read Pronaos's answer, I'll stick with that.
