Cool, thanks. So how well does the skyline stick out from Oak Park's viewpoint without zooming in on it? I tried poking around with street view on google maps but couldnt see anything.

I completely agree with the person a couple pages ago who said this building perfectly matches the render...it doesn't even look real!

No kidding? Neat. I love Trump, so maybe I'll like Burj better once the cladding is done.

but it doesn't mean that both towers should be designed/look similar. different places, different characters...isn't it?

for burj dubai...it has no 'arabian' feeling at all...

my 2 cents

You can see the highrises along the lakefront looking down most major E/W streets ( North, Division, Chicago, Lake, Madison, Roosevelt ) as long as you are East of Ridgeland ave, the ridge it takes it's name from is the watershed between the Great Lakes and the Gulf of Mexico - all down hill to the lake from here.

I've just read the whole thread! It takes me a few days, but it doesn't matter. Trump Tower, its design and Chicago are amazing!

I like skycrapers near any river or seaside.

Greetings from Spain!
