It soars! I'm starting to like it! Can't they just change the name?

TRUMP TOWER IS FEATURED IN THE DARK KNIGHT!!!

Aside from the Empire State Building (a la King Kong), I don't think a single skyscraper in the last 10 years has received as much screen time and amazing product placement (debatable) as Trump Tower does in The Dark Knight. I won't say how much time, or when in the movie, but I'll say this: TDK WAS AWESOME! CHICAGO'S SKYLINE ==> GOTHAM! ANY AND ALL SKYSCRAPER ENTHUSIASTS, AND EVERYONE ELSE FOR THAT MATTER, MUST SEE THIS FILM!!!

(sooooooooo GOOD... Sexcellent, if you will)

I really don't like this type of movies... And a few looks on some skyscrapers wouldn't save them...

I came to post the same thing. I saw it on an IMAX screen last night at midnight. There are 6 scenes filmed with IMAX cameras and most of them involve flyovers of Chi-town and Hong Kong and action scenes in them. IMAX is the way to see it for those interested in cities. (And if you're on this forum and not interested in cities...)

Logistically, I don't know how they pulled it off, but the scenes in Trump Tower are bad-ass.

Not to niggle with you DShoost88, but I don't think the Trump Tower will be recognizable to anyone but people from Chicago or people on skyscraper forums. It's pretty dark most of the time.

They did a great job of giving Gotham the Chicago feel without screaming "This is was filmed in Chicago!" ie, no big Sears Tower shots.

This is one great looking building Chicago consider yourself fortunate. This is probably, at least to me, the best looking building built in the U.S. in the past 10 years. Love it.

Petronas Towers had extensive coverage in "Entrapment" with Sean Connery and Catherine Z Jones.

How so? When and at what times. Is it recognizable to the non skyscraper fans?

I am seeing the movie tomorrow on IMAX.

Let me know when not to take a potty break.

Do they show any daytime sites of Chicago [Gotham City] that shows the beaches of Chicago like this one?
