I don't think is T/O yet

I belive is still a thinner section to put on the spire...

The spire have 3 sections, and I see only 2 in the pictures.

That's what I said also, I think there is still another piece that has to go up. That section might not be structural though, maybe just fiber glass.

Will they put up the cladding of the spire manually?

Nice, this is finally heading to top-out.Do they plan to erect the spire in one go, or there will be another stage later in the week.

So... It's official http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/c...,1216691.story

CHICAGO - Donald Trump now has a spire atop his Chicago luxury high-rise building thanks to helicopter and construction crews.

A helicopter flew the spire to the top of the building in downtown Chicago on Saturday and ironworkers bolted the steel pieces in place. The Trump International Hotel and Tower stands at 1,361 feet tall. That's about 90 feet shorter than Chicago's famous Sears Tower.

Pedestrians on Michigan Avenue looked on from below.

In all it took four hours and fifteen minutes for the spire to be erected. The successful operation was one of several tries to install the spire. High winds foiled the other attempts.

In that picture is a little dark, so it might be later than the Chicago Tribune pictures.

To bad is not so clear.

all of the metal truss-work for the spire is in place. All that is left to do is put the fiberglass skin on it. I think in one of the news articles posted it said that it could take up to two weeks to do this.
