WTC would dwarf the Trump. Without that stupid spire, it's around the height of the Aon Center and the John Hancock. This is why I hate spires.

Hate? Spires can be beautifull! I don't care about statistics that much, the looks are more important... You're hating something for its statistics only... sounds stupid to me...

i see many differences to the burj dubby. For example the trump tower fits in its ambiance.

You have to seperate your oppinion. I think most of us don't like high-faking by spires, but many buildings need spires for its harmony. I can't imagine the trump tower without the spire would look as good as it does.

That is cool. Trump is building too many buildings. Keep up the good work, Donald! But stay away from Philly...uh...maybe...we'll talk

Two excellent points! I agree with you 100%.

I hope to get to Chicago someday, it looks like it has developed a lot since the last time I was there in 1994.

The inside and the ground is still under construction according the images I see on previous pages. But, besides that, the whole Supertall construction is finished. Oh yeah, everyone is waiting for Mr. Donald Trump to cut the ribbon.

I wonder if they'll restart the lawsuits now that construction is nearly complete. I heard they pre-sold about 75% of the units, but only closed on 30%. It's pretty evident in nighttime shots how empty the upper levels are. I feel bad for the buyers... this one could be heading towards all rentals. I haven't heard of a single retail tenant signed on yet either.

The hotel has been open for well over a year. The condos are done as well, save for maybe the penthouse levels. Just but the bottom retail floors need to finish and the outdoor plaza.

I'm happy they chose to do the trees right and plant more mature trees. It looks great there and it's nice to have more green on this side of the river.
