Wow! It seems like if this tower is something very different and new for the city, isn't it? I mean.. I'm just seeing a little part of this big city..

Maybe different, maybe new... but not good. It has far too much bulk for a tower its height, the base overpowers the riverside and I don't have a clue what they were thinking when they designed the cap/spire.

There are however some angles which make it appear more elegant... looking straight north up Wabash Avenue provides a much more slender appearance

i agree that the plaza is out of tune with the tower....if memory serves me right the wrigley building is next door....i wouldn't think that it would be in tune with that building either.maybe some grey and white stone would have worked better.....although grey is.........well.......grey....hmmmm.

Every time I'm at an intersection where I can see it, I have to stare at it. Its embarrassing!

None of the pictures do it justice, it actually looks funny in them. I wonder why Trump would put such a beautiful building here instead of New York?
