its a parking ramp, but the angle is off, wtf. I think one of the jacks was a little overzealous. Wonder who was fired for that mistake:-p

maybe the floor under it is higher...why do you assume all the floors are the same height?

I think they can easily cover it up at the end with some kind of coating.

But i agree it doesn't has to be an error.

According to a member on SSP who has good technical knowledge of this project (and others), the ramp is like that on the building's drawings, so it is not a mistake. And once they clad that ramp you won't be able to notice it.

Yea I'm pretty sure they would notice that it is crooked. If it wasn't supposed to be that way then they would replace it. But I think it is supposed to level off because it is the first level of parking. So instead of going around in a circle it is broken off at the floor - then restarted again for the next floor.

Wow that aerial image is amazing. IMO, the Trump Tower is in the most advantageous location. With Waterview in there also, Chicago is quite comfortably the best skyline in the world. (Don't even think about CS!! The location for CS is another perfect location.) If CS is done then OMG Chicago really has it made.

It seems that as Chicago evolved, each building was precisely designed for the location even in the early 1900s.

Oh yeah the cladding is gorgeous.
