Thanks for the pics Bvic. Great to see this one really start to soar. The only problem is that the next setback isn't that far in the future, so I guess it'll be only a matter of time before we have to wait another 3 months :/.

Well, we have to wait another 20 floors or so for the next setback, and it probably won't take as long because it will be smaller than the transfer floor which was just completed.

Beautiful building. Beautiful glass facade. Although I'm not a Trump fan and having "the apprentice" and family members in charge is a bit unerving, this will be a landmark for Chitown and a prestigious place to live. Keep the pics coming guys!

It looks as if it's from a barge on the river. If that's the case then there really is nothing to worry about, since there are strict rules for professional displays.

Anywho, it's nice to see progress taking off. Hopefully the next setback won't take nearly as long as this one did.

As mentioned before, a smaller setback = smaller surface area = less work = faster completion. And with an additional 20 floors would really increase its prominence in the skyline while the next setback commences.

Makes sense to me. Somehow I am already dreading the next setback . The last one was scheduled to take 61 days, which I think was accurate. I hope the next one only takes 45 days.

So each setback will take a long time?

Each setback is also a transfer floor which takes a long time to complete. The previous transfer floor lasted about 2 months. So yes it will take a long time, relatively speaking. To me, it seems like forever.

A bit of a change of pace in this thread - here's a tidbit about the deal that Trump recently sealed with a contractor for the building's signage. The contractor, Poblocki Sign out of Milwaukee, WI, also did the signage on Miller Park in Milwaukee and Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI.

Enjoy!

No, it is new, they didn't have glass all the way up to the 27th floor in the winter.
Plus, you can see the glass on the parking ramp too.
And there is a tour boat out.
