Well the water only looks clean because its not brown. I think its concrete banks are mostly the cause for this.

Dropdeaded209, you are looking at the building with ALL the lights on and NO window treatments. When the building is complete, only some of the lights will be on (except the parking) and most people will have the shades or drapes closed. It will look like any other tall residential building at night.

yeah but the garage will be completely lit all night, i assume, not to mention the lit plaza and restaurant on the first setback.

Well, this looks to me to be a more isolated type of a pour and close to ground level so it would be inconvenient/inefficient to set up and use a pump. It also appears to be right next to where the trucks pull up and that little crane can handle it all.

Cheers for sourcing that Reinsdorf Sucks. That part of the skyline could do with some Trump Blue.

Speaking of, in the flesh does it come up as blue as in many of the pics posted (& closer to that of the renders), or more of a steel grey as in cbotnyse's pic post #1323? Depends on light and time of day?

I think its more pale blue in person, but in the bright sunshine it looks brighter.
