Definately. It seems like I can see the cranes from several vantage-points in the city. It's pretty exciting if you ask me.

We're getting close to another setback, which of course means another month-long delay!!

Thankfully it'll be the last one -- the main shaft is the next one up and it'll be the one that breaks a thousand feet!

why does they have delay each time there is setback, havent the builders calculated that that part of the building would take more time to build ?

There is not an actual delay in the construction progress. Each setback has a transfer floor which takes longer to construct than the normal floors. The last transfer floor/setback took about 61 days to complete, so during that time the building stopped rising. There will be another transfer floor to build at the next setback which, if memory serves me correct, is scheduled to take 45 days. During the construction of this upcoming transfer floor, there will be a DELAY in the vertical rise of the building but contruction progress will continue.

I'm actually liking a building with the Trump name on it? Looks even better than the renders. Great reflectivity.

There's Something about this building.... It's not that its architecturally magnificent, as a matter of fact as far as modern towers go, I think it's kid of boring, But it just seems to fit so perfectly into its context, that it looks like its been there for years!, and that its the perfect building for the site.

I'm very happy to see THIS building on THIS spot.

If you want to make an omelet you've got to break some eggs. The new skyline postcards will be worth the wait.

I'd love a stack of "Chicago Under Construction" postcards.

The trio of Marina City the Tump Tower and the black one (?sorry) looks awesome, great mix of color, glass and exposed concrete. Looks very sharp.
