Boy...
Those pictures on the precedent page really embody the American Dream don't they?! At least my vision of it.

Chicago is stunning... It is starting to rival Manhattan more and more for me.

yes but its solid reinforced concrete up to lev156/586m, which is tallest concrete structure ever built.

wait...are those cars parked on the lower floors? they look like they could fall off. i'd be afraid to park my car there

You can't - valet only - even for the residents.

At least one movie ( Bullet ? ) has a car driving off at high speed and plunging into the river.

At one point these were the tallest residential buildings in the world, upriver a mile will be the worlds tallest residential again.

To really appreciate CBOTnyse's shot you have to walk past there several times a week, I mean the exact same spot, and yet never quite get that good of a view.

i know the spire is going to be the tallest, but now im so excited b/c there is a proposal to have the highest residential tower west of Chicago in DT LA. off topic on this thread, but im just so excited and really hope this happens. ok w/e. ill stop with LA now.
