I was speaking with a friend who said she supported Hizbullah because they 'defended' Lebanon, after a short political discussion with my highly objective view

she's interested in March 14th

I had mentioned in class, I don't care who is elected into office in the US as long as they keep their hands off of Lebanon, keep foreign influence out of Lebanon, don't put Syria into a position where they can get anything from Lebanon..... the teacher thanked me for the comment before I went off on a Stalin-esque political rant

Needless to say, I think the class knows more about the Middle East than they were ever told by the media

ohhh u know what would have been so smart, if the Lebanese government closed the border with syria and make the syrians pay double to cross the border just like syria did to us during the war.... ohhhh that would have been just brilliant!! We would make up our loss during the war hehhehe

well the main reason why this site was created is for the many projects around the world and Lebanon itself. And not about news on hezbolla, syria, etc.... So our main focus is projects in and around Beirut. Whether its a bad development or not, many forumers are not visiting this forum because of this. We have enough of it in the news and elsewhere.

oh common hassoun ,, hundreds of thousands of lebanese travel miles and miles and they don't know why they are protesting !!

well anyway that was a protest and now its a sit-in protest, as i see it many of them are sick that their government is not protecting,not taking care of them and not even reprsenting them....

or else why they r protesting against lebanon's governement that wants only the lebanese army to hold weapons and that wants borders with syria to be demarcated and also wants diplomatic ties between the two countries,syria don't want all these demands koz it doesn't recognise lebanon as a country,,,,,u r kuwaiti,do i have to remind u of what saddam's regime did to kuwait koz it didn't recognise it as an indepepndent country??????
