Because its their father's initiatives they might take it more seriously?, Or maybe they won't because they can't get in shit if they do a bad job?

Or maybe because they are foreign educated that might be the best suited for administrative jobs?

Who knows, but trust me even in Canada we have nepotism of this sort. I've seen plenty of times Son's/Daughters of upper-management in companies being given jobs with little or no relevant course work.

Conergy wins Saudi solar energy contract

Conergy wins Saudi solar energy contract
Published: 11 December 2008 10:43

Saudi Aramco has awarded Conergy Asia-Pacific, a subsidiary of Hamburg-based Conergy, a 2MW solar power plant to be built at King Abdullah University of Science & Technology (KAUST).
The project, valued at $15m, covers the construction of two rooftop solar plants with an output of 1MW each, which will be installed on the north and south laboratories on site.

It will cover 11,577 square metres of roof space and produce 3,332 megawatt hours of clean energy annually.

Under the agreement, Conergy will manage the design and components supply, while installation and operational management will be implemented by the Saudi-based National Solar Systems.

KAUST is located in Thuwal, north of Jeddah on the Red Sea coast.

Saudi Oger is managing the photovoltaic portion of the university project.

No problem. There has been a lot of repetition here

Mostly politics, KAUST is the only and first educational institution not under the supervision of the Mutawaa, and this is a way of telling them to stand back, plus I believe all three have higher education.
