Are the small villas handed over by now or what is holding them off ?
If somebody has pictures of the progress of the big villas, please post them. |

Got a verbal confirmation that DEWA have been paid and have confirmed that the work will start today. The contractor has approx 50 people on site to complete the final work on the 22 townhouses. I havent been on site and will try and pass by sometime this week. However this information is from someone who has been very helpful and correct so far.

Passed by the site today. They have started landscaping of the gardens in the 4 B/R townhouses and r doing final painting and finishing work on them. Unfortunately no progress on the DEWA work so far. Have spoken to various people on the site as well as Abyaar office, they have no clue when DEWA will come in to finish the work.
Ready to pull out my hair now. Destination is so close and yet so far away!!!! |

When I last spoke to Abyaar & the contact @ contractor's office, they both said that DEWA wanted them to change the location of some pillar/beam (or something similar..dont know the technical term for it) on the site. The contractor had submitted the new location drawings etc and were waiting for DEWA approval. Once they get DEWA approval it would take 4-6 weeks to execute the same.
What they were surprised was that why hasnt DEWA sent the transformers to the site, as that has nothing to do with the pillar/beam. To be frank, I really dont know what/when the next step is!! Fingers crossed. |
