A superb building ... as far as city towers go, it was the inspiration for most of my childhood, and is probably the reason why I stumbled into skyscrapercity.com. There are very few towers put up subsequently that I'd rate as high. A gem. |

10/10. True icon for NYC. First to go past 1000 feet to 1250, inspired future 1000 footers after it to the same -- even breaking Empire State Buildings' record. ESB is timeless, art-deco, and never aging. It's a heartbreaker to be the tallest in New York City again ever since that tragic day.

Realy the best skyscraper. Because of his age en structure. It looks even better then most of the skyscrapers that are build in the 90's and millenium years, so a 10 for shure.
Best building ever seen and it will always stay the best no metter what happens. |
