i tried all right!!

all the matches for us bank were... unacceptable
and aon found the 777 building.

Remember..both US Bank and Aon used to be called First Interstate Tower if that helps your search.

The tallest building was the "First Interstate World Center"

The second tallest building was the "First Interstate Tower."

AON didn't find the 777 building, but perhaps that was a typo. After First Interstate left the tower, the building was called "707 Wilshire" before AON got the naming rights.

no no. i mean when i type in "AON" into the search field. i get some pictures of the 777 building, at least i think that is what it is called. the little mini-me version of the library tower closer to the 11o and staples center

edit: both First Interstate World Center, and First Interstate Tower come up with a smaller building on 9th and grand. and a second picture of some people praying to some sort of fountain god.

Aon was also called United California Bank.

Too many skyscrapers downtown has had name changes.

That Bonaventue shot is weird seeing as how you can't see it from that (or any) angle from that distance.

Thats actually 1983 because the tower u/c is the Wells Fargo completed in 1984.

yes it was quoted as being taken from a hot air ballon

...also fixed the date. those are what the library is quoting them as so. i roll with that
