When I look at the pictures of what it would look for Las Vegas skyline... It remind me a bit of London skyline... It looks like a bit same as St. Mary building by the shape but taller.

I just saw it. There's still a chance. They are probably negotiating with the FAA. It could very well get the height. At this point it's far from a simple dream proposal with all the evidence we've seen.

In the meantime they will be clearing the site. The fence they have up is now covered with a green barrier preventing you from seeing the site from the street now.

wait..those 2 scrapers arnt taller than ESB are they??

I have no idea how to compile an up to date top 5. nowadays youve gotta be an expert on each height and spire/roof heights..

Looks like they are almost done demolishing the old slides, pools and buildings. They just covered up the old pools with dirt so they must not really be getting ready to start on the foundation.

The entire resort was approved except for the 1888 foot height. The county said they would follow the FAA's recommendation, which at this time is negative. LVTI asked for a Clark County planning meeting continuation until May because LVTI believes that the Washington DC lobbyist firm they hired will be able to convince the FAA to allow the height. We'll all find out in May if this thing launches.
