you can't fill in pics from your computer with [IMG][/IMG]....you have to upload them on the net first, for example with www.************ or other sites

you really think they are going to just leave some of the most valuable real estate in the country paved over like that?

this is only temporary but I dont know what they are going to build there.

They can use the paved-over lot for many functions. They can use it as a staging area for all the construction sites around it (Fontainebleau, Echelon, CityCenter II), use it as a giant parking lot, or host events at the site. This is a good way to generate money while try to get LV Tower to get approved from FAA (which it will not get approved) and subsequently during the time while they redesign the project which may take a while.

They wouldn't pave over the entire area if they expect the project to get approved from FAA in a few days (May 2). So yeah, the good news is the pavement is only temporary. The bad news is, whatever gets built on this land will not be the original LV Tower. It can be something even better, which can be good news.

that isn't paved. if you look closer, you can see its gravel like. someone from another thread suggested that its meant to reduce dust which is a major issue in that area. so it might not be that it is dead, just prepping the site

Well... Do not jump over the conclusion... Just be patient and wait until May 2 to find out if it will get built or not... May 2 is almost here.

It's recycled blacktop. They rolled it out and sprayed it with tar. Turns back into pretty hard stuff. I'm sure it's cheap. I watched the Fontainebleu construction guys bending up re-bar structures to the right on the LVTI lot. It's obvious that Fontainebleau has rented some space from them. The Hilton truck trailers are on the far part of the lot. Looks like Hilton and Fontainebleau 50%/50% usage right now. Could be perfect timing. Fontainebleau will be done in less than 24 months and that's about how long it will take to design the $4.5 billion LVTI resort. We'll know more on the 2nd!

They finally posted the calendar and sure enough it's back on the planning agenda for this Wednesday, Item 29. Doesn't look like any changes have been submitted.

The airport sould be at the outter skirts of each town....the municipallity needs to thinck about moving the airpot...much furder away....because the town is growing....what are we gonna do...stop building??..we need to expand somehow...we need to find a feasable solution..I know that building a new airport cost a lot..but..if we need to .....it must be done
