took this about 30 minutes ago.....they are the smoke stacks across the river from Shawnee Park..they were working overtime today lol.

Dec, 9, 2006 today i was just driving through portland, and decided to jump out and snap a pic of the old marine hospital.....looks brand new now...its really old, i think it goes back to 1825...got a nasty glare from the sun though...or maybe it was ghost from the civil war

WOW!
They have done a fantastic job restoring the marine hospital! I haven't been out there in a long time so I hadn't seen any of the progress. That's very exciting for the Portland area.

 Yeah, I think that's what he's talking about. I think the builing closest to the expressway has recently been rennovated. It looks nicer, newer.

I'm not sure where they are exactly. I believe between 64 and 65 on the Southeast stretch of Watterson.

i'll try to get the shots for you
 this is my photo for the day. its the tracks over near 15th and oak. the tracks are pretty wide (i couldnt fit all of them in this shot). its pretty old too. this was taken about an hour ago. i see these tracks on my way to work in the morning and never stopped to take a pic of them untill now.  there are like 5 more tracks to the left not shown in the picture |
