Okay, my cousin is from Conneticut and I'm taking her around the city this friday. Every time she comes they just drive up to Brampton, and stay there. I asked her if she's ever been downtown, "Downtown Brampton? Ofcourse."
HaHa, so what areas do I have to show her? There's too much to see in one day. I have; Dundas Square, Chinatown, West Queen West, Little Jamaica, Corso Italia, and Yorkville so far. Where else? |

Kensington of course, and walking around the financial district is always fun. Beaches, High Park, Harbourfront, North Toronto are nice too, but not so much in winter.

Harbourfront, if she knows how to skate. NPS, Eaton Centre, Distillery and maybe a Raptors game.

So I'm thinking of getting a new toy: Either a Canon PowerShot G7 or a Leica D- LUX 3 - cost about the same... Any ideas? Brains say "Canon" hart says "Leica".
Meant to be a SLR substitute - for travel without the lugging. Already have aa Canon Élan II film SLR and will get the D30 (digital) one day.... so I am familiar with Canon... Read some not so good things about each...

I'd just show her some extremes to make sure you cover it all. Maybe check out the Financial District and Yonge-Dundas, then Queen West and Chinatown. Take her shopping on Bloor, or just for a look.
There

Wait.. why Jamestown? And I'd skip the Raptors game and go out for some food or something, you can watch basketball on TV.
