YES! *applauds self*

*p.s. I would apologize for this strange pointless rant that me and Filip are going on. Yet, is this not the thread, the place of all places, the hot spot to post nonsensical crap when you're really overtired? YES.

I usually go for 90s stuff. But that just represents the utter tacky side of the 90s... all in a small 50 sec. nutshell! EW

Holy crap I find this song ridiculously catchy!!!!

Black Box - Strike It Up

From 1990 - not eurodance (too early) but ridiculously catchy nevertheless.. that sort of pulsy dance dance hit.. Absolutely kickass!

Really? Hmm.. differing tastes I guess. To me (from what I remember) the 90's were full of tacky colours, pink, lime green, baby blue, lots of happy-go-lucky dance music, etc etc... The Hip Hop scene was not as big as the Eurodance scene was - hence the "this is very 90's"

Well the bright ugly colours was more of a late 80s/early 90s thing I think.. by '94, fashion started to tone down a bit. I dunno, I don't really remember the very early 90s.. I'll have to go check a photo album and see what I was wearing

And well for me, rap was what I listened to mostly back then, so this just has a lot of nostalgia value for me, while Eurotrance didn't.

Yea.. I lived in Europe back in the early 90's, up until 1996. I was a kid, but what I do remember is a lot of tacky colours (as in that vid I posted) funny hairstyles similar to those in the vid and hundreds of dance music shows all over TV (hence the eurodance). Not that I listened to that music back then, but it holds a certain nostalgic value to me, cause when I hear some eurodance tunes I'd think "oh man I remember hearing this way back when!" When I came to Canada in 1996 it was also the case - lots of eurodance everywhere, and Much Music's Electric Circus. I never really listened to this genre until about 2 years ago when I went clubbing and I really enjoyed it. (Mind you I was a rocker beforehand!) Now it's all about classic eurodance hehehe.
