Are you kidding emre? I spent my last whole one-day Istanbul trip, trying to see Levent, from touristic parts (Bosphorus and Historical peninsula). All I got was the top of towers behind hills which are veeery far away. You have to go to a really high place in order to see their silouette. But These towers are different, they are veeery close and veeery high for that place.

an unattractive and decidedly un-turkish looking proposal located far too close to the historic city. almost kitchy.

I don't know the view from there, I've never been to historical peninsula although I live in Istanbul. I thought its area is close to Levent but I've learnt it is not. Then, they should build it somewhere else. But must build it!

I respect its uniqueness, but honestly, I don't think I've seen more repulsive looking towers in my life.

It's ugly enough as it is, but the random glass cladding on top make it look like caterpillars stuck upright. Though I have to say, I do think the actual towers when completed will look better than the renderings

maybe one tower would be alright, but three? thats a bit whack. the tops of the kebabesque tower looks a bit silly too... move this project up to levent and maybe itd look better (though i know kanyon and metrocity malls would make it tough for yet another mall to crowd up that area)

Yes! It looks very un-Turkish to me. The base looks almost like a hybrid between Arabic and Indian styles even. Way too brutal for any part of Istanbul. I too hope they don't build it.

If you don't want them in Istanbul, could we have them in Rotterdam?

If built, they will be a scar in İstanbul's beautiful face...

For just only makin it look like a kebap, you can't erect a building like this in İstanbul... It's disturbing my eyes (even in a drawing)

If the objective is to be a part of İstanbul's Architectural Design Line, there is a lot of Towers, Domes, Minarets... Make it look like them...
